His research focuses on embodied AI, ultra-low-power high-performance wireless systems, IoT computing systems and wireless system security. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Zhejiang University and his Ph.D. from the State Key Laboratory of Information Security, Chinese Academy of Sciences; he was a postdoctoral researcher at HKUST, has led over 10 national research projects, published over 80 papers in venues such as ASPLOS, MICRO, MobiCom and NSDI, and won the First Prize of the National S&T Progress Award.
